    Frozen Dessert - Kulfi

Kulfi, the rich and creamy frozen dessert originating from the Indian subcontinent, is every desi’s favorite cheat dessert

Its luscious texture makes it the perfect indulgence on hot summer days or any time you want to spoil yourself with a sweet escape.

While traditional kulfi stands out on its own, there are numerous creative ways to enjoy this timeless classic.

Here, we explore the top five ways to enjoy kulfi along with serving suggestions.

    1. Classic Kulfi on a Stick

Let’s start with the main one – the kulfi stick.

While traditionally served on a stick, our kulfis currently come in convenient tubs.

But you can easily recreate the kulfi stick experience by pouring your favorite kulfi flavor (we’ve got mango kulfi, almond kulfi, malai kulfi, and pistachio kulfi!) into popsicle molds, inserting wooden sticks, and freezing until they’re firm.

    2. Kulfi Falooda

You can also add a scoop of kulfi into everyone’s favorite Indian dessert – falooda!

    What is kulfi falooda?

Kulfi falooda typically consists of two main components: kulfi, which (as you know) is a dense and creamy frozen dairy dessert similar to ice cream but richer and denser in texture, and falooda, which is made from thin vermicelli noodles soaked in rose syrup.

These two elements are often served with sweetened milk, basil seeds, chopped nuts, and sometimes even fresh fruits. It’s refreshing & offers just the right balance of creamy, sweet, and aromatic.

Layered with vermicelli, rose syrup, basil seeds, and topped with a generous scoop of creamy kulfi, it’s a rich & traditional dessert best reserved for special occasions or fancy dinners.

    3. Kulfi Milkshake

Who says milkshakes are just for ice cream?

Kulfi adds a unique twist to the classic milkshake, giving it a richer and creamier texture. Simply blend a few scoops of kulfi with milk, sugar, and a splash of your favorite flavorings.

Think vanilla extract, rose water, or even a hint of cardamom for a refreshing drink that’s sure to be a go-to pick-me-up for any time of the day.

    4. Kulfi Sandwich

    Yes, you read that right.

Kulfi sandwiches are a thing… and they’re absolutely delicious!

Sandwich a thick slice of frozen kulfi between two cookies (chocolate chip, oatmeal, and shortbread are good choices) and get creative with your fillings.

Try adding sliced fruit, chocolate sauce, or nuts from some extra crunch.

The possibilities are endless, and the taste? Let’s just say you’ll be coming back for seconds.

    5. Kulfi Sundaes

Start with a generous scoop of Kulfi Wala Mango Kulfi as the star of your sundae.

Top it off with a dollop of whipped cream, a drizzle of mango puree or syrup, and a sprinkle of toasted coconut flakes.

Add a few slices of fresh mango for extra sweetness and a vibrant pop of color.

But if you’re more of a pistachio person, begin with a scoop of Kulfi Wala Pistachio Kulfi as the base of your sundae.

Add a swirl of chocolate sauce or hot fudge, and sprinkle crushed pistachios on top. Finish it off with a cherry on top and a dusting of cinnamon.

Quick side note: For almond kulfi, you can drizzle it with caramel sauce for a rich, caramelized flavor and a sprinkle of sea salt. And malai kulfi goes amazingly well with rose syrup & chopped nuts so you can customize your sundaes accordingly.

Why wait? Pick up a pint of your favorite kulfi flavor today & get creative!
